Default International Clock

I would like to see a small International Clock Display, say in the corner of your screen that shows GMT, EST and PST.

I am in an International Guild with players from across the European, American, Australian and other Time Zones and sometimes the times displayed for events or even sometimes Guild 'expeditions' can get to be somewhat confusing. It would also help in the International PvP events.

It could either display all three time zones at once or just one, that if you hover your mouse pointer over, it will then display the 'other time zones'.

If this is not possible on the screen, could it be put as part of the menu bar?

An addition to this if possible could be an alarm clock which you could set to warn you about a Guild Event, or GW event that was about to happen.

I think a displayable Time Zone clock would be of great benefit to Guild Wars as we are a truly International Game.

So what do you think?

Instead of that. Just add your system time and server time to the FPS/PING square.

Isn't GMT Greenwich Mean Time? And ain't that place in England? Therefore it being "International"?
GMT is the base time system for the whole world. If you can't tell what the time is in a certain area (let's say there's no clock) you'd have to base it of the GMT time....
Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), mean solar time at the meridian from which time in other zones is calculated.

There's some more evidence.

Bottom left corner of your screen (by windows default, see appropriate corner if you have moved your start bar), double click the clock, select the timezone tab, change the dropdown list to read (GMT) Casablanca, Monrovia, Reykjavik, you now have a clock that is displaying the current GMT time. Make a note of the GMT -/+ ##:## that it was before you changed it and you can easily convert to your local time, simply add or subtract the ##:## from the displayed GMT time.

I would like a clock showing the GMT time or a game universal time. I mean, all I want is to have, ingame, a clock time of the Guild Wars World.

Wouldn't it be easier to just learn the differences in time zones to common areas?

If your having so much trouble figuring out when things start... put a common time zone or the most used 1 in the guild/alliance there with it.

Yes, it is easier to learn the time zone differences, but who does and for some it is still confusing.

I dont know about other Guilds, but in mine, we have nearly 90 members from literally all over Planet Earth with its inherant time zones.

A small clock as part of the GW interface would be so handy. It doesnt need to be intrusive.

I also like the idea from 'Mariano' about a Universal GW time.

I bet you would be surprised by how many would use a International Time Zone Clock were it to be introduced.

I agree but you can always change your clock to -8 (PST)... would be rather helpful wouldn't have to change my time every few weeks for an event =)
